Summary
Plexus are partnered with a leading Contract Research Organisation (CRO) offering comprehensive clinical research services to global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of 10+ Business Development Directors globally.
- Identify and pursue new client and project opportunities aligned with company service offerings.
- Utilize research databases to identify and engage potential clients.
- Collaborate with client cluster leaders to expand services and secure new business with existing clients.
- Achieve assigned sales targets through proactive business development efforts.
- Represent the organization at targeted conferences and trade shows to showcase our services and capabilities.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and effectively communicating our capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and address client inquiries.
- Drive completion of contractual documents in coordination with contracts and proposals team members.
Requirements: - Bachelor's or master's degree in science, business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in business development or sales within the clinical research industry, preferably with a CRO.
- Proven track record of winning business with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
- Strong industry reputation with an extensive network of contacts.
- Experience leading direct and cross-functional teams to optimize performance.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% for business purposes.
